Σειρές που μας αρέσει να βλέπουμε είναι πραγματικά λίγες, αλλά πρέπει να ομολογήσω πως τον τελευταίο καιρό έχω δει πάρα πολλές σειρές απο όλο τον κόσμο και συνεχώς αναζητώ νέες. Καθώς έψαχνα στο απέραντο γαλάζιο του internet, ο τίτλος μίας σειράς από την μακρινή Ιαπωνία μου κίνησε περισσότερο το ενδιαφέρον, το όνομά της «το παιδί χωρίς συνέχεια» ή όπως μεταφράζεται στα αγγλικά No Continue Kid (No Con Kid) . Η ιστορία ξεκινάει σε ένα συνοικιακό κατάστημα με Arcade το 1983. Εκεί τρεις φίλοι γνωρίζονται και πορεύονται μαζί άλλοτε μαζί άλλοτε χώρια, δείχνοντας σε όλους τι σημαίνει πραγματική φιλιά και τι σημαίνει αγάπη για Video Games. Πρωταγωνιστής είναι το «αγόρι χωρίς συνέχεια». Η αγάπη του για τα Arcade τον οδηγεί στο μαγαζί του μετέπειτα φίλου του. Εκεί κάνει αυτό που ξέρει καλύτερα, παίζει τα παιχνίδια και τα τερματίζει με την πρώτη φορά! Χωρίς Continue! Τα δύο πρώτα επεισόδια είναι εισαγωγικά. Η ιστορία εξελίσσεται ομαλά μετά το 3ο επεισόδιο. Τα επεισόδια έχουν χρονική διάρκεια γύρω στα 45 με 50 λεπτά. Βλέποντας την ταινία θα καταλάβετε πόσο σημαντικό ήτανε για κάποιους ανθρώπους οταν δεν υπήρχαν κονσόλες, να πηγαίνουνε στα συνοικιακά μαγαζιά με Arcade και να παίζουν εκεί τα αγαπημένα τους παιχνίδια δίνοντας τα χρήματα τους ξανα και ξανά μέχρι να τερματίσουν το παιχνίδι. Πραγματικά θα συνειδητοποιήσετε πόσο σημαντικές ήταν οι φιλίες οι οποίες αναπτύσσοταν μέσα σε αυτά. Θα γνωρίσετε τα πιο σημαντικά Arcade παιχνίδια και Console Video Games απο το 1983 έως το 2013 και πως σιγα σιγα αυτά αντικαταστάθηκαν από τις κονσόλες και πόσο δύσκολο ήτανε για αυτα τα μαγαζιά να συνεχίσουν να υφίστανται! Θα γελάσετε σε συγκεκριμένες στιγμές με το ιδιαίτερο χιούμορ του σκηνοθέτη. Θα προβληματιστείτε με τις καταστάσεις. Προσωπικά επειδή έχω ζήσει παρόμοιες καταστάσεις μπορώ να πω ότι η ταινία με αγγίξε και με ταξίδεψε πίσω στο χρόνο.
Η εικόνα που βλέπετε στα αριστερά απεικονίζει το Xevious ένα απο τα πρώτα arcade scrolling shooter της Namco το οποίο εμφανίστηκε το 1982 απο την ίδια στην Ιαπωνία. Αργότερα και στην Αμερική με την συνεργασία της Namco με την Atari. Θα σταματήσω όμως εδώ και δεν θα πώ τίποτα άλλο για το game. Δείτε την σειρά και θα καταλάβετε.
